With little to no familiarity with Kagoshima Prefecture, the trio first has to get a grasp of the region's geography. 3. Episode 3Yugo Kochi, Waku Motoki, and Fuga Onishi headed for their final mission: reaching the Kagoshima-Miyazaki prefectural border. After asking around, they were able to identify the location of a border marker. However, since it was still a considerable distance away, they made their way toward Miyazaki by hitchhiking, transferring between several different cars along the way. They finally arrived at the area where the border marker was supposed to be but there was no sign of it. Unsure whether they were even in the right place, the three continued walking along the mountain road. Then, just as filming for the first shoot came to an end, Season 2's new rule came into effect. A "Save Point" flag was placed at the location where filming ended, and the next shoot would resume from that exact spot. Nine days later, the next travelers, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo, gathered at the Save Point. |

4. Episode 4To gather information about Miyazaki Prefecture, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugeta and Tatsuru Matsuo made their way to a roadside station. They struggled to find a driver willing to help them continue their journey, but then, all of a sudden, Kochi's hitchhiking sensor kicked in. Thanks to a kind couple, they secured a ride to their first mission: Ebino Plateau. Just as the three were about to begin visiting the area's crater lakes, they discovered that completing the route would take more than two hours. On top of that, an unexpected setback awaited them, pushing their physical stamina to its limits. While searching for a place to spend the night, Kochi proposed pitching their tent somewhere other than a campsite. Supported by the kindness of the people of Miyazaki, he, Rinne, and Tatsuru prepared a local specialty together. After spending a truly wild night unlike any they had experienced before, the three rested up to prepare themselves for the grueling mission awaiting them the next day. |

5. Episode 5The Mission in Miyazaki enters its decisive second day! The team has learned that they need to head for Shiiba Village, one of Japan's three great secluded regions, but the journey there is unimaginably long. On a freezing morning below 0°C, Yugo Kochi, Rinne Sugata and Tatsuru Matsuo fire themselves up and begin hitchhiking. Just getting to Hyuga City, the gateway to Shiiba Village, requires traveling over 100 km. When they stop at a roadside station along the way locals tell them "You'll need a great deal of determination to make it to Shiiba Village." That comment casts a shadow over their hopes of completing the mission before the day is over. Even so, with the help of the people they meet along the way, they gradually get closer to the location. However, they are suddenly confronted by an incredibly steep mountain road, leaving all three of them stunned! |

7. Episode 7The Kumamoto mission has suffered a massive blow to its budget because of the Chateaubriand incident. With sunset approaching, the group urgently needs to find somewhere to stay for the night, but the roadside station in Minamiaso has already closed and hardly anyone is around. Feeling dejected, Mayumi runs around the surrounding area alone, searching for someone willing to let them stay the night. Meanwhile, Kochi and Takemura also approach everyone they can find at the roadside station, but they too fail to find anyone willing to help and begin to lose hope. Then, a miracle happens for the desperately searching Mayumi. The next morning, the trio sets their sights on completing the Kumamoto Bingo by checking off "100 Kumamon statues" and the Okoshiki Coast at low tide. With about three hours left until filming ends, Kochi, Mayumi, and Takemura decide to head back toward Kumamoto Airport while continuing their search for Kumamon. Fortunately, they meet someone willing to give them a ride toward the airport. Before setting off, however, they stop for a meal where Mayumi and Takemura reveal a surprise mission for Kochi. After pushing ahead with the mission until the very last moment before time runs out, the three place a save spot at a certain location, passing the baton to the final leg of the journey. On the last day, Kochi is joined by Chiino and Takemura, who was unable to make much of an impact during the previous Kumamoto leg. They must press on quickly to complete all seven prefectures of Kyushu, but once again they find themselves struggling with the new rule. |
